At Soma Circle, we integrate a trauma-informed and inclusive approach into our work. We guide individuals through life's challenges by fostering self-connection through mindfulness, compassion, and somatic practices. Witnessing our clients embark on their healing journey is deeply fulfilling to us.
Psychosomatic Therapy
offers personalised sessions addressing one's presenting concerns or issues while fostering a mind-body connection through a trauma-informed lens. In-person sessions provide traditional intimacy, while online therapy ensures accessibility. Both avenues foster therapeutic bonds, aiding individuals in understanding and addressing the interplay between psychological factors and physical symptoms.
We use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy as the main approaches towards our work in supporting our clients.
Soma Soundscape
utilises meticulously tuned crystal singing bowls to elicit profound relaxation and holistic well-being. Rooted in scientific principles, this somatic methodology cultivates secular techniques for inner balance through guiding our brain states to alpha and theta frequencies.
Yet, it also invites individuals to delve into their spirituality, should they wish to incorporate it into their healing experience.
In tandem, the vibrations emanating from diverse sources delicately massage our internal tissues and calm our body's nervous system. This internal massaging, akin to its physical counterpart, gently soothes our cells, tissues, organs, and mind, fostering a harmonious state of being.
My name is Danica, and I am a dedicated therapist specialising in somatic work, with a deep passion for supporting individuals on their journey of self-discovery and healing.
My areas of focus include addictive behaviours, trauma, chronic pain, and psychosomatic symptoms. I also feel deeply called to serve the neurodiverse and rainbow communities. I believe in “walking the talk,” meaning that I actively practice the approaches and modalities I offer, ensuring authenticity in my work.
With a holistic and integrative approach, I will invite you to explore your inner world with mindfulness and compassion in a somatically safe and nurturing space. Through this work, I hope to support people I work with in deepening self-awareness, resilience, and inner harmony.
